Is there a way to change the blue status bar to a different color?

Also, while I have had my GPS for 2 years now I haven't really done anything to it other than add some color schemes. If there are any mod's, upgrades, 3rd party features, etc. I can add to it so that a newer GPS cannot be justified, I'd appreciate the input.

The blue colour is hard coded into the firmware. Try looking into the 3rd party forum to see if anything is of interest there.
