TT Go6000 - Internal issue?

Hi, has anyone had problems with the above model booting up sleep when vehicle power supply is applied. Mine more often than not will become active but the screen is a dark blue. When this happens you can hear the drum roll and it alerts when approaching a speed camera. Then for no reason it will work as it should. It has a new battery so supple should be okay. Do I need to check the internal ribbon connection to the screen I wonder?
