TomTomOne 3RD Ed - Home update error

I have tried to work with TomTom support on this issue multiple times with no progress. I am running Home 2.5.2.60 on my HP laptop with Vista Home Premium (64 bit).
When I connect my GPS and run Home "Update my One" I consistently get the following error. Any suggestions?

ERROR: Internal/Malformed: Malformed: We're sorry, but HOME can't complete that task. Please try again later, or contact customer support. For problems with items that are stored on your device, we advise you to remove and re-install the item.

initial update error - any suggestions to repair

I am hoping someone might be able to suggest a fix to this problem from TomTomHome?

When I go to update mapshare via TT Home on my HP Desktop I get the following error, however, when I do it on my Dell Laptop there is no problem, I am wondering if it is a conflict with HP??
