TomTom no maps found!

I have had TomTom Nav. 6 installed on my AT&T 8525 (WM5) for about 4 months. About two weeks ago, after the initial Legal Notice screen, it started to display the screen "Select a map:", with the message No maps found! The only operation possible is to click on Done and exit. I haven't installed any software or made any changes to the configuration that I know of for at least 6 weeks.

When I use FileExplorer to look at the files present on the phone, the TomTom folder contains "USA_and_Canada-083c39cd5". If I click on that, it says "There is no application associated with...
Run the application first then open this file from within the application."

Use Tomtom Home to check out the SD card, and make sure it has an executable as well as the maps.

Try renaming the map only to USA_and_Canada.

Another solution would be to restore from the backup you SHOULD have made using Tomtom Home.
