tomtom 720 and motorola l2

I have the 720 for a bit and love it. I just got a motorola L2 and tried to get it to talk to the tomtom with limited luck. I could get the bluetooth connection, but the 720 says the feature is not allowed to be able to call from the tomtom. Is there some setting or more setup i need to do to either the phone or the tomtom?
