tomtom 130s problems

Hello. I have a tomtom 130s . The thing freezes up on me. I tried using the clear flash tool but it didn't work. I do have a backup. It's not on home. It's on my computer. My question is how do i use my backup. I'm not very computer smart so if you can be specific i would be greatful. If it helps i have windows xp. Thanks

At what point does it freeze up on you? Have you tried a reset of the unit? (I think for your model, you hold the power button for about 20 seconds).

Also see if anything here helps.

And, you say you have a backup. Was it done using Explorer? If so, you can simply copy the contents of the backup to the unit.

If you did use Home's backup facility (in the future, use Explorer, it's more reliable), then use Home's restore.

But try the other stuff first.
