Shut down when no power

I just purchased a via 1535. When I unplug the power cable from the socket the unit tells me it's shutting down. That's perfect. But when I turn off my vehicle (the accesoory plug turns off) The unit just goes black. Doesn't appear to be a proper shutdwn. Then it won't start back up when I turn on my vehicle. So it works OK by unplugging the cord. BUt not shutting the vehicle power. Any ideas.

Under battery savings preferences, what do you have checked for the unit's staying on (or not) when external power lost.....

That said, I do believe there is a bug that TT knows about whereby the auto-on/auto-off don't always work.

Try resetting the unit by holding the power button about 10 seconds till you hear the drum sounds.
