My TomTom One 3rd edition keeps shutting down.

My TomTom One 3rd edition keeps switching itself off even when plugged into the cigar lighter,

It still might be a case that the battery is dying........

Can you keep it connected to the computer for at least three hours? Device can be off. Then disconnect and see how long the device stays on without external power.

Just tried it, and it hasn't charged at all so it only kept going for 3 minutes.
I will buy a replacement battery for it.
