sd card and music

How do you get your tomtom to read your sd card. I am tryingto figure out how to get my tomtom to read my sd card because there is no space on my tomtom to play my music.

How do you get your tomtom to read your sd card. I am tryingto figure out how to get my tomtom to read my sd card because there is no space on my tomtom to play my music.

Typically you just insert it in the SD slot and you're off to the races.
Not all cards are compatible and some need to be formatted prior to use.
There's a ton of info in the forum regarding SD Cards, use the search feature
and you'll find all the pertinent info that you're looking for.
I use a Kingston 4gb I bought at Best Buy for $34.00

You can copy files using TT Home - add files on my computer or media files. It would then open a Windows Explorer window and allow you to drag/drop files into the mp3 folder.

Or you can do it yourself. Either with the card inside the TomTom or from a separate card reader. Create a folder called:

mp3 (all lower case)

And then drag/drop mp3 files into that folder. You can also create subfolders inside that mp3 folder.
