Normally not and, as well, only a 6 month guarantee.

But you'd want to confirm with the seller.

Provided that the unit was actually refurbished by TomTom and has had no intermediate owners, many people have reported success in getting the LMG. Some have found it necessary to call tech support to achieve it, and some have had it work out of the box. The following threads demonstrate both situations. The first one was from last month.
