TomTom Model(s)
Mazda NB1
Hi there,

I've got a 2015 Mazda CX-5 using the NB1 in-dash satnav.

I bought new Maps from TomTom today but I can't get them installed.

The update shows;

QuickGPSfix
European Map
Postcode stuff

When I try to install nothing happens for a while then I get the attached screen

I've spent 3 hours on "Chats" with TomTom but they weren't able to fix it.

Is there anyone here who may be able to help me?

Regards,

Michael

The full European map is quite large and it can take a while to download. Be absolutely CERTAIN that your PC or notebook isn't being allowed to 'sleep' due to inactivity. It's a 'power management' function on all PCs and notebooks that can be configured. If the computer 'sleeps' due to inactivity, that almost always shuts down the download process. When I see the "cancelled the process", that is the first thing that comes to mind.

Thanks for your reply.

Hard drive - set to switch off after 4 hours
Screen - set to switch off after 2 hours
PC Sleep - set to Never

This message happens even if I take off all the ticks and leave "QuickGPSfix" ticked
