Pre Paid Map Update Card Won't Work

:confused: I purchased a pre paid TT map update card at a major electronics store. I have all the newest updated TT Home apps and I presently have version 8.45 North America maps on my 16 GB SDHC card. When I go to TT Home and enter the access code from the card on the USE MY ACTIVATION CODE I constantly get the following : An error has occured. Please try again.
At first I thought it was a faulty pre paid card or it wasn't properly activated when I bought it. I took it back to the store and we tried it on one of their computers and one of their Tom Toms.
To my surprise, it worked!!!!. They gave me a new pre paid card and it's doing the same thing. An error has occured. Please try again.
I previously used a pre paid card for my 8.45 maps and had no problem. Am I failing to do something. ANY suggestions are appreciated.:confused:
I haven't seen that before. But not many people buy the prepaid cards, so there could be a systemic issue that just wasn't reported in this forum yet.

Tomtom phone support has the ability to manually activate maps, as long as you can show proof that you purchased the card. So give them a call: 866-486-6866
