POI Problem

I download the McDonalds POI. The problem I am having with it, I was 100 mile away from the house, I went to Navagate to, a POI, McDonalds, close to me. The list came up but they were all near my house. So I navagated to my house. then went to POI, MCdonalds, then chose find one along the routes. Again, the only McDonalds it found was near my house.

What am I doing wrong?

I have made my own POI and they work the correct way.

I am able to edit the McDonalds.ov2 file.

Was the point 100 miles from you while you were on a route? If so, select that option (poi on route).

I did that and still it only showed the Macs near my house, not near where I was.

How about the 'Near city' option and select a city?
