No shared items folder

Hi all,

When I start TT Home I get an error message that there is no shared folder. When I go to the preferences there is nothing identified under the Shared Items section. What is the purpose of this folder? If I create a new folder where should it be located? I'm using a Mac. Home version is 2.3.1.40. Thanks!

I don't have a Mac but locate where the download folder is located and create a shared folder in that same directory.
