There is a New Update on TT's Home Page, it says,

Prior to that, I wanted to see what the "Update" contained, so I clicked on "More Info".
It said this

Name: Ephemeris file
Version: 1200092649
Size: 0KB
Description: With updated QuickGPSfix data you TomTom device can find its positio much faster, especially in dnsely populated areas and possilibiliy even indoors.

QuickGPSfix data contains information about where the GPS satellites are going to be for the next 7 days.
to get the fastest possible GPS fix, make sure you update the QuickGPSfix data as often as possible and at least once a week.

My Query is,
1.) Is this an Important Update ??
2.) Why does it say "No File" ?
Not a Query, but a Fact
3.) Remember, I'm using a "Mac Lptop"

Not sure why it didnt download for you, but this file is common and will be available for you probably every 5-7 days as it is a file to help your tt get situated as to where it is located faster.

Try to download again

You can go to your tomtom's ephem file and delete the folder.
the quickfix will recreate it.

I'm sorry to bother you, but

1.) Exactly how do I go about doing what you said above?

2.)Where is "My TT's Ephem file & how do I delete the Folder" ?

3.) Where Is "Quickfix" ?

4.) Pls remember I'm a "Newbie" & that I also am using a "Mac Laptop", & I really don't think I have all of the capabilities of TomTom Home on My Laptop

I went to TT's Home Page just a few Mins ago & tried to Download the "QuickGPS Fix Data" 2 more times, & unfortunately it did the same thing again, twice.....

No problem. You don't need HOME to do this.
Well Im using Windows but what I do is connect my unit to my computer.
I then explore the unit files and locate the Ephem file.
Delete the file and then run HOME again. It should ask you to download the QuickFix file again. You should have errors after this.
