I have tomtom 920t and it is linked with my mobile phone for hands free.
Can I set it up to show where I am on a moving map without setting a route?

From the regular navigation mode (opening screen), just don't set a route (use Clear Route if one was already set) and then switch to the "2D" view, and set the zoom as you like it.

Browse Maps function would do the job.

Except eventually you'll drive right off the map. It won't move with you once you have the centerpoint set.
