Lost Maps

I have a XL Live - whilst in TomTomHome I got an error message saying "some files could not be read on the TomTom drive"
I tried to clear the errors with Windows error checking tool. I tried to back the files to my computer but once more got the error message. As a last resort I reformatted the TomTom drive and went back into Home and downloaded all necessary files,
but I now have no maps - how do I get the maps back on my machine.
Thereare no maps in my backup!!!

Any help appreciated.

When you connect to Home, Manage my Device-->items on device, maps, what does it show?

Items on computer-->maps, anything show there?

Was the map on your device the original that came or did you ever update it? If the latter, may still be on the computer.

Also, if in Home, Add voices/maps, does it show anything on the computer you can install?

The original map

I can download from Home some recorded voices, also POIs, some routes, colour schemes,
Also Car Symbols, Start up images and Shut Down Images
Also Warning Sounds

Guess you are out of luck and will need to repurchase a map using Home.

Once you do, make a Windows Explorer back up of your XL, NOT a HOME bacj up.
