iTunes log-in?

I'm new to TomTom (v1.6) on my iPhone 3GS. After just two days I think I'm going to like it. But the app seems to always want me to enter my iTunes user name and password when I start it up or when I finish a phone call and it returns to navigation directions. Any idea what is going on? I do just press "cancel" and the log in request goes away, but its constantly popping up and is getting annoying!

This is strange, but try this.
Go to your iphone settings, scroll until you see 'Store'
Make sure you are signed in.

Checked my iPhone settings. The two options listed are "View Apple ID" and "Sign Out" So I assume that I'm signed in to the store (and always have been). Thx
