I have had a TT 910 for about 6 months. I love it, my wife is jealous of "Suzie". Last Monday we came into Oklahoma City from the north and I had programed it to find an residential address in the south part of the city. "Suzie" took us right into the driveway with no shuffling maps. My wife is not good with maps. This is just one example of many.

OK, here is my problem. I got the thing and put it right to use. I never connected it to my computer. I have a MacBook Pro. I know that I can get newer maps and need to back it u or something.

Where do I start?

You probably should download the application HOME from www.tomtom.com/home and install that to your computer.

When you connect your unit via USB, the computer will recognize it as a storage device (removable hard drive). When you open up HOME, it should download any updates to your 910 automatically.

In HOME, you really want to backup your unit especially your computer voices and maps.

That should get you going...let us know if you have any troubles.

Also, make sure you have Mac OS 10.4.10 installed. There was actually a TomTom specific fix related to using HOME with Intel based Macs.
