Some times my navigaiton will want to take me down a hill, then a left up a hill ( steep).. where I'll go around the hill, takes about the same amount of time...

One area I do like about my Tom tom 630 over a Garmin I used last year , ,is the fact - When I change to another route the device quietly goes into a mode of recalculating new route ..
'The Garmin used to announce to me " Re Calculating Route ' ..

which was kinda scary to my passengers to hear over and over again .....

getting back to this post ., is there anyway you can 'train' your gps to take a certain route rather than the one it wants to provide?
I know there is an option within the menu that can recalculate a differant route..
But I mean to actually learn the new route????

If there's a place you don't want the Tomtom to route you through, you can erase the road iin mapshare (just don't share it)
