I am looking to mount my gps either the TomTom one 140 or the TomTom Via 1535TM to my scooter. I think I have found the mount ok but not sure what cradle to use to attach to the mount. Can anyone help?

Have you thought about the rain? Neither of those models is waterproof.

I've used this sort of waterproof case/mount combination on a scooter with great success.
After tying it on the handlebars first, I attached it to the wing mirror arm in the end.

I just noticed my typo.... I wasn't "tying" it on the handlebars, I was TRYING it....

To get a snug grip on the rather thinner mirror-arm I was going to wrap some tape or rubber strip around it, but then I found a pair of semicircular tubular pieces of plastic left over from a push-bike lamp bracket kit that were exactly the right thing.
