Bean Bag GPS mounts

I've read some positive reviews of the heavy bean-bag style GPS mounts. From what I see,

  • The mounts are heavy and grippy enough that they don't move around on the dash
  • The mounts provide a smooth surface for sticking the typical suction cup mount

Does anyone here on the forum use this style of GPS mount? Do you like it? Are they all the same, or is there a particular brand/model that stands out?

Thanks,

Steve

I use the bean bag with a Ford Explorer. I bought it at Best Buy. I use the orginal windshield mount with the bean bag. It does not move off the dash or slide. Only complaint is the windshield mount sometimes comes undone, but thats a problem with the windshield mount. I highly recomend it.

I just picked one up, the Nav-Mat, and am using it with the alternative mount with my new 920. I love it.
