I cant find a way to save a route...... is this possible ?

You can define an itinerary for the device to follow and you can recall this itinerary to provide a route but saving an individual route isn't possible as the unit varies the presented route depending upon time of day/ day of week etc. This is to provide the optimal route based around your time of travel - Mike
