go520 bluetooth wont connect to samsung s7 after successfully pairing

    for some reason the Bluetooth connection to my phone drops out after 3 or so minutes and wont reconnect. I regularly use my phone to connect to the factory car kit in my 2018 model ford transit van. there's nothing wrong with my phone.

    my phone momentarily says "connected for call audio" when I attempt to force a connection, but no tangible connection actually takes place unless I reboot my phone, then it connects and drops out after a few minutes.

    is this a known problem with the go520? any ideas how to rectify?
