GO 5100 No maps available. No menu access

    Hello.

    Hi. Update failure occured while download maps and after the devicer restart I have NO MAPS AVAILABLE, I cannot access MENU. MyDrive app says that my deviece is up todate and no need to update it. Anyway in the MY MAPS section there is no maps available to download. I have seen simular thread in forum. I followed all instructions but stil the same problem exist. Can any one help me thanks.

    Also, try a drum reset on the unit by holding the power button about 20 seconds till you hear the drum sounds.

    Done drum reset few times.... Still the same problem.

    Gotta run, but dnh, perhaps you can walk him through the recovery process. Technically, that's designed to deal with the firmware, but may 'reset' the device's knowledge of the maps as well.

    He found the smallest map that was offered by MyDrive and installed it, providing one functioning map. After that, it became possible to install others.
    If that doesn't work for you as well, do let us know what TomTom recommended.

    Cool. I cannot see any maps in MyDrive to download so will see what TomTom will say tmr and I will let you know.

    My deviece is fixed now. TomTom customer service was able to add maps to my account and I was able to download them again. Thanks for help.
