go 510 POWER options.

I swear me GPS would turn off when my car did, now it doesn't seem to.

When I press the power button on the GO 510 it just restarts, and sometimes if I do it twice, it will get load, but get really fuzzy.

odd! Basically how do I have it turn off and not turn back on haha.

that is what i have to do to get it to be un-fuzzy--reset it.

if I push the button on the top it restarts it basically, sometimes it will be fuzzy, sometimes it wont. when I hard reset it like you show, it just restarts it back up.

I basically let the battary die and unhook it, that is how it is turned off

hmm...how about doing a factory reset? That is done by going to the Main Menu>Change Preferences>Reset Factory Settings.

WARNING: This will delete your favourites, home location, and I believe your custom POI's/splash/suspend screens.

You might want to backup before doing this procedure.

after backing it all up, it still doesn't 'shut off' .

I figured if I turn it off and while its about to reboot just take out the SD card it stays off....I guess that will have to do.
