Go 300 Problem

Hi Everyone
I know my Tom,Tom is quite and old one now but I am having trouble updating it.
I have the Tom,Tom software installed but it will not recognise that the Tom,Tom is plugged in.
My PC can see the Tom,Tom but the Tom,Tom software itself is saying it's not connected ?
I have done the usual plugging/u-plugging and done a re-start of the Tom,Tom, but still no joy ?
Any help appreciated.

Using the cable that came with the device? Also, a USB port on the back, not the front of the unit.

For that old a device, you may initially need Home 1.6 to start, not Home 2.X

Take a look at the little link under the first 'download' button here:

But check the cable and ports first.
