Having bought my first ever TomTom on the 9th of September I really only have one complaint and that is the name of my road and the next road along are wrong on the TT maps. Our flats and the named road leading to them have only been here since 1934 but still some maps, including TT's, still insist on calling us after the main road ours leads off. I suspect it may have something to do with the fact that our road is private and has never been adopted by the local council, although the council certainly have it right on their own street map.

It probably explains why a lot of delivery vehicles have such difficulty in finding us, and Santa Claus never seems to find me! Interestingly Google Maps does have it right, so I'm hoping that TT can get their act together and make a correction.

I used the online facility on the 9th to send in the correction but nothing has changed yet. Does anyone know how long it usually takes TT to action these online corrections?

Go back to your Mapshare Report and see if it has been accepted or rejected.

It's still saying 'Status ... Pending'. Presumably someone at TT HQ has to independently verify the accuracy of the report before it is accepted.

I had items rejected near me and took a photo posted it on tinypic.com and added tor resulting URL to my comments. Took them still 2 map editions before the change; took Google 10 days with written feed back.
