Class Action ?

Just joined the forum and looking for advice. Does anyone know of an Class Action's against TomTom that I can join. I have 2 models (Via 1535 / XXL540S) that came with lifetime map updates. Lifetime means Lifetime and with TomToms announcement that my 2 models are no longer supported and I will not be permitted to download new map updates is simply false advertising.
I do not want to or need to purchase new models at a discounted price. The 2 that I have worked very well for years. Thank you and sorry for venting.

On the contrary, Tomtom has said that models with Lifetime maps WILL continue to receive them. In your case, BOTH the 540 and the 1535 should continue to be offered them.

I reported this earlier. My XXL540TM has received at least 4 map updates since being declared EOL last summer.

I was not aware I could get past the EOL warning message in the software. I was able to update both units. Guess I should have checked into this further.

You are State side, a class action suit of those proportions would have made it to the smallest local papers by now.
