I have a 2014 Mazda CX5 GT with the NB1 indash system. I have kept this system updated over the years using TomTom Home. I believe that I have a current subscription, but I went into Purchase New Maps in TomTom Home the other day and it won't connect to the card. All of the other features in the software seem to be working except that it cannot see the items previously stored on the computer after I recently did a clean installation of Windows 11 23H2 and reinstalled the software. All of the files are on the computer in the correct folder for Home, but the software doesn't see them. I don't know if these issues are related or not. The card logs into TomTom according to the software and it picks up new files to install which I don't want (Mexican Speed Cameras).

I don't know if this is a software problem or if my card is going bad or I just need to do something else to have it check for new purchases and for items on the computer. Wondering if anyone has any ideas. Thanks.

Open Home
Use Tools / HOME Preferences / Folders to be sure the paths match exactly to where things are on your PC. If they do match, then using Manage My Device should correctly show the items on your PC.

However, when you say "...working except that it cannot see the items previously stored on the computer..." it sounds like Home isn't seeing your card, either.

When you first fire up Home, what does it say when you install the card into your card reader? Can you read/browse the file structure of the card with your PC?

The folders are set up properly. The software can see the files on the SD card. When I install the card into the reader, the software will first login and then go to new software. It shows that there is a file for Mexican Speed Cameras which I don't need and haven't bothered installing on the card. The only two things that seem to be failing is the reading of the files on the computer in Device Management and checking to see if there are any maps or features that are available for purchase. I have been able to download and install other files in the map updates and the backup feature seems to works fine.
