I have Europe and Oceania downloaded on my device. But nowhere in the menu (Map & Display) is there an option to change the map. The sticky post on the topic doesn't correctly reflect the options on my device.

Can anyone please advise?

First, apologies. That 'sticky' should have placed over in the older Nav4 section. I will get that moved ASAP.

For the newer Discover/Export models, any maps you have available on the device will work automatically when you are in the appropriate location. If you have Canada loaded on your device, and you fly to Canada, you'd see it there on your device. You don't need to 'switch' to a different map the way it was once necessary to do. It's one of the functions of the "NDS" map system that comes on these devices now.

Wonderful, thanks. A great pity that your info is not to be found anywhere (at least not by me) in TomTom documentation.

Now I have to discover whether or not Australian Capital Territory is included as it's not a specific zone whereas the rest of Australia is.

Thanks again.

That's because it's intended to be entirely transparent in use for users of this latest generation. If a person hadn't already owned a prior generation TomTom that required manual switching, or been misled as I did you with that tutorial in the wrong spot, you'd probably not give it another thought.
