I bought the tom tom 350 xl t the other day. I love ot execpt it won't alert on freeway exits! I apporched an exit driving slower and it stated alerting mid sentance but I couldn't understand all of it. I updated the maps before using did I mess something up? If I can fix this I will keep it, if not it going back. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Have you tried switching voices? Does your model have computer voices?

It only offers one voice with street names the others just say turn right or turn left. It only happens on freeways. It seems it views exits as all the same route so it doesn't alert.

How about Advanced Lane guidance? Your map show that?

Just a thought...

How many poi's do you have selected to show on your map? Sometimes if there are too many, the CPU can get a bit behind. If you have a lot, try just selecting 1 or 2 poi's.

How about lowering your volume to 80%--85% and unchecking the box to adjust for speed (or something like that)?
