xxl540 charging problem

Just got a new xxl 540.Does it normal when charging with a tomtom logo on? why i couldnt turn it on after 1hour charging?

Not sure what you meant in your second sentence, but you would never normally see a TomTom logo on the screen for any length of time, so I think it must have crashed before or while it was being charged.

To re-boot it, press the power switch for around 20 seconds until you hear a drum roll sound and then release the switch.

The device will charge far faster if it is switched off, and will also charge far faster from the supplied charger than from a computer connection.

I connected to computer using usb cable in the package

It was crashed.I rebooted it by pressing the power swich.
But there is another problem comes out.There is no main menu shown when swich on,why is that?
