Is this a manual process that requires you to go to the state DOT in order to find out what's under construction and then manually plot waypoints to avoid it or is there a better way to do this? I can sync my 910 and get traffic updates but that doesn't factor in construction (to my knowledge). How are others doing this? Is there a service you can subscribe to that will keep the TomTom updated with construction info and slow downs? I would hate to have to run into the construction in order to re-route around it.
I live in a Detroit suburb and will be traveling to Chicago tomorrow and would really like to learn how to get the most bang for my buck from my TomTom. Thanks!
