I saw that the new TomTom go superior has support for checking the weather at the destination of the trip, but I can't find anywhere where I can see this function

What it says: When planning a route, tap the destination icon to view weather conditions, temperature, and arrival time.
Your GPS must also be connected to your smartphone to receive live information.

just out of interest with the weather feature on my friends garmin drivesmart and his tx2 for his motorbike the weather info is for current location, on route, destination and weather radar. does tomtom give the same info because if tomtom does weather for destination only and not for current location, on route, destination and weather radar then to me the weather feature is of no use.
