Removing Weather Icon TomTom730

While I'm askin'......

I set up bluetooth to use the TomTom730 with my phone, and I can recieve and place calls. However, when I chose to try TomTom Weather, I realized my phone did not have an internet connection to continually update weather. In other words, as my phone is set up, I can not get weather on my TomTom.

However, the Weather Icon (Clouds and Sun) is always on my TomTom main screen when it's turned on.

Does anyone know of a way to remove this weather icon, since it is no good to me, without removing and reinstalling everything on the unit?

The owners manual doesn't cover this.

Go to Change Preferences/ Quick menu preferences and untick the Show Weather check box, this will clear the annoying icon off your navigation screen - Mike
