Way to delete own posts?

Is there a way? I posted in hot deals for a $5 2GB SD card, but now rebate is expired and would like to delete post........

Seems like you should be able to delete your own posts...

Okay, I see what it does. It appears you can delete posts as long as it's not the first post in the thread.

When I "edit" this post, the "delete" button is there. When I "edit" first post, there is no "delete" button.

Why would this be??

What thread? If you ae the OP and there are replies you cannot delete the first post.

Okay, I see it is gone. But there were no replies, so it must be a first post rule you can not delete.

Anyway, thanks, just trying to clean up the clutter...
