Voice recog' only available on one set of maps

Hi, I hope someone can help. I have just discovered that my new TT only supports voice recognition on either the N American maps or the Europe maps, not both, and this is dependant on which continent the unit was purchased.
I have contacted TT customer services and been told that this the case and nothing can be done about it. What a rip off, I bought the 920 for use in both Europe and the US, but now find that not all the functions work on both side of the Atlantic.
Has anyone found away around this problem? Heres hoping.

(similar size with 50 or so files)
You just need to put the cspeech files in the roots of the respective map folders, 1 on internal memory and the other on an SD card and you are good to go!

People should note that Navcore7 cspeech files do NOT work with Navcore 8.

Hi all,

I am in the opposite position - I have a European 720, but need North American VR files.

I bought the darn thing to use on my frequent road trips both here in Europe and in the USA, but apparently TT didn't think I wanted VR in North America... Haven't heard back from TT support, so I was hoping someone here might be able to help me...
