I have noticed that this model is no longer available..I have just purchased one..should I be concerned about anything

Nope. The 1505 will get treated the same as all of that generation of unit. You'll find that none of the "Nav3" units, as we call them, are being sold now except for remaining inventory. They're off on another new tack with "Nav4". I like the Nav3 better, so far -- too many missing features still to come (if?) on "Nav4". You will get any firmware updates that come along, and you will have no problem with map support.
