I'm finding plugging in and removing the USB lead is difficult..any one else have this problem..hope it's not a damaged receptacle on the unit..I just purchased it
Think it has the right-angled plug type and, if so, they do tend to be somewhat tight. I find if I insert the bottom part just a touch and then insert the rest of the lead, seems to go in somewhat easier.
It is a tricky connection than cannot be forced. You MUST use the included Tomtom right angle micro usb cord. If you use any other cord, you risk lifting the micro usb data/charging port off the circuit board. It is SMD, surface mount, and it will let go with too much force. Unless you have a hot air rework gun and are a bit handy on the bench, you will have a paperweight if you tear up the port or you will pay a shop $50 or more to fix it.
