v7.162 questions or fixes

ok i upgraded to 7.162 its seems like a good upgrade.
but here are my tiny problems
i used to be able to use the remote to turn the volume up and down by pressing left or right. now when i do that it starts up the music player and skips tracks

how do i go back to the volume

second when i use the remote when i went to my favorites i could scroll through my list and they were icon based. not it shows me the top two and asks me to type in for search like it would if i was undocked
how do i go back to icon based?

also is there a way to fast forward the music player instead of skipping to the next

when you use nav 7 it messes up your other icons do you have the help me icon?when you put on other 3rd party stuff the navcore doesnt like that.there is a post on here that you can have 2 menus, switch from one to the other.
