USA map on SD card

Hello, I am new to this site. I purchased a map of the USA for my TomTom some years ago and have used it successfully many times. The map is on a micro SD card. A friend of mine owns a Garmin SatNav and is going on holiday to the States this year. Does anyone know if my micro SD card with the USA map would work in his Garmin?

No, your USA map can only work on the GPS you purchased it for, so your USA map cannot work on a Garmin GPS.
