Upgrade from 8.45 to 850

I upgraded my TT Go 630 from 8.45 to 8.50. I have all the latest updates for TT Home and my app. 8.351.
I downloaded the new 8.50 to my sdhc card. My question is, now I have the 8.45 and the newly downloaded 8.50 on my sdhc external card. Do I remove the 8.45 from the sdhc because when I check the devices system by touching bottom the right of the screen on my tomtom for system information it still says my North America map version is still 8.45.
If I remove and save the 8.45 and leave the newly installed 850 is that the correct thing to do?

As you have two maps installed to the device you will need to go to Change Preferences/ Manage Maps/ Switch maps and select the newer map from the list, then when you tap the about/ info it should list the newer V850 map.
If you think having two maps that are very similar will cause confusion in use remove one of them to your computer using either Home or Windows Explorer - If using Windows Explorer you can double check you have the correct map by right clicking the .pna file in the map folder and select Open With/ Notepad, the contents of this file will show you map name and version - Mike
