Turn on GO 720 Automatically

TomTom 720 has the feature that it will turn off upon losing external power supply. Is it possible to do the reverse? Have TomTom 720 turn itself automatically on when it's connected to an external power source?

That feature was apparently available with earlier software versions but removed by TomTom in recent firmware upgrades.

Strange ... my 510 used to do both.
After having it serviced by TomTom under warranty, it only turns on automatically now.

You would think that TT would create a standard for all their units such as auto on auto off for all and be done with it...and have the option to turn those options on or off. Seems simple enough
