Can anyone help me with adding text to speech functionality to my ONE?

I heard that it was once possible to hack this, but TomTom fixed it so that no one could with the latest firmware. You would have to revert back to a previous firmware in order for it to work. I'm not sure which one. But let me know if you find anything out, I would love to add TTS to my ONE!

I read that too but then I read there was another...way (hack is such a dirty word)

So legally this is frowned upon? Am I up against a brick wall trying to get this done?

I really hope someone who knows the answers will respond. I would LOVE to have TTS on my ONE. It would make the near-perfect device, and it's close to that right now.

I don't know anything about open source or programming. I'm just the dummy who tries to follow the directions and usually end up hosing my device.

Sorry to say but the only way to do this is to go back to a specific firmwire.
