Can you plan a trip on TomTom Rider second edition using highway numbers. Every time I get with another rider on planning a trip they always use highway numbers. My trips are touring trips by riding lots of roads. We plan our trips by highway numbers and not fron city to city.

I don't think so.

Others have commented in this forum that they didn't like how tomtom requires a city before a street, and how tomtom doesn't let you bypass the city.

Tomtom's route point-to-point - You can't force staying on a highway if it's a slower way to go, Your only option would be to build many waypoints so that you remain on the highway, or set a meeting point and just follow other riders down the road you want to go.
