I'm a TomTom guy who just found out the hard way that the units sometimes don't react well to being dropped. Anyway I may be in the market for a new unit and I was wondering if anyone is familiar with this unit. Three features of my current unit (XL 330) that I really want on a new unit are Itinerary planning, the ability to download and install new points of interest and the ability to set warnings prior to reaching points of interest. Does this unit have those capabilities? My father recently bought a new TomTom unit (I can't remember the model for the life of me) and while loaded POIs would display on the map I couldn't find any way to get it to warn in advance of a POI. When you're my age yo need to know when those Rest Areas are coming up.
