Tomtom xl 330 help!!!!!

I bought my TOMTOM X330 and it worked fine. I then came home and tried to update my maps through TOMTOM Home and after it said NO MAPS. I then tried formatting my TT and everything is screwed up.\r\n
Tech Support said to do a full FAT32 format, which I did, and then copy the file they sent me to my TT.The file will not go to my TT as it keeps saying NO SPACE.

What am I doing wrong??????

Use Windows Explorer on your PC with the device connected, locate the drive letter associated with the TomTom, right click it and select "Properties" what drive space is showing as both used and available - Mike
