TomTom traffic trouble

I bought a new xl335TM it all seams to work great except thr traffic it says that it cant be used with current map. I have updated maps, and IQ, and it is conected to the receaver. all i get is an x in the top right corrner
any Ideas?

I called we worked on it for .5 hrs and issue not resolved, I was toled that I would have to wate for the proper App. to download. and it's not out for my tomtom yet. hopefuly i might see somethinf in a few weeks. WTF? it was suposed to be on the tom tom when i bought it. NOT HAPPY!

There is some talk that Amazon jumped the gun in selling these items. (if that is where you got it).

That said, I suspect that support may not have current information. A call back to 2nd level support might be necessary.

Or, return it, I guess.

What application is on the unit? Tap the satellite bard and the next screen shows that info.

I have sent both units back becouse after 2 hrs on the phone with tec and had to ask for a supervisor the only thing thay could do for me is for me to sent to them wate 3 -4 weeks for a return. no not the right thing to do when I bought the junk for a trip i'm taking next week. they have a software issue and no fix yet. Why did they put it out on the market? I dont think Amazon tested it, put in a tom tom box then sent it out so it's not there falt. Tom Tom support is really bad, 45mins just to talk to someone first, that tells me that there is a lot of problems with TT. I would like the product if it had the propper CUSTOMER support.
