TomTom start 42

Hi everyone.
I have just been given a start 42 still in original box and never used ,in the instruction leaflet it says that maps can be updated using Wi-Fi however when I try to find the Wi-Fi icon in settings nothing appears.Sorry if this is a stupid question but as a 80 year old my knowledge of modern technology is zero also I don’t use computer.Thanks for any help

Start 42 does not have Wi-Fi function you need to install Mydrive connect to perform updates.

Thank you for your reply ,I wondered if this was the case but as instruction leaf said Wi-Fi I assumed it was possible.
